Which Oil

It is now time for me to change the lubricant in both rears and the transfer case. I've already done the 5 speed using the GM lube. Looking for recomendations as to what to use. Most driving is high speed with some towing of a 7,000 lb. trailer. Rear dif. is factory limited slip. At 48k miles should I go with petro or synthetic, Amsoil or other product. All suggestions appreciated

More important than the brand is that you stick to one brand until when or if you switch to synthetic. I like Delo 400.

My truck also has 48k miles on it and is in need of axle/transf. case lub change.
Decided to go with Ammsoil synthetic 75/90 (GL-5)in the differentials. Add 3 tubes of Mopar positraction additive if you have a Dana 80 with positrac.
I also have Amsoil synthetic ATF for the transfer case change.
Will stick with Shell Rotella-T in the engine as it is easier to obtain when traveling.

I too use Amsoil in the engine plus all gear boxes. At each change I do an oil analysis which indicates good results in all areas. Oil is changed every 6000 miles trans(5speed) and diff at 18,000 mi.
