Which port is which on fuel filter?

I am installing fuel pressure gauge on my 1998 1/2 Ram 3500. I need to know which port is which on the fuel filter. Which one is on the lift pump side(filter input) and which one in on the injector side(filter output).

If you are looking at the filter housing from the drivers side. The port on the left is post filter.

If you look from the drivers side, the one on the left. Works like a charm for me.
