Which pump wire would you splice into on a 2001, for a fueling box? I have a friend that has a 2001 but no box. The black with a brown?, stripe is spliced with a connector on it. Wondering if it had one on it. Mainly because everyonce in a while it acts like it has a governor on it. Sometimes it won't go above 2000 rpm, with a little bit of blue smoke. THEN all at once it goes, and vroooooom we go. It doesn't happen all of the time but once in a while. I thought it might of at one time had a box on it so wondered about the dealer looking at it...

that is what I thought too. But this one has a wire loom that has several wires out of it. One wire has the connector tapped onto it. Any ideas?
