Hey guys, I went ahead and ordered an AGR power steering pump(the top of the line "AGR Diesel Super Pump" model"). Now which box should I purchase? I know the PSC box seems to have been getting a bad rap lately. So what do you guys have/like? I know AGR offers a couple of boxes for my truck. one being a 12:1 box and the other being a 16-13. 1 box. Will the multi ratio box actually change ratio while turning the steering wheel? I like to have very easy steering, but also like quick steering. I love how the third gen box feels. which box will give me that feel?

Thanks guys :)

This will only be part of the answer you are looking for. 03 and later in the two wheel are rack and pinion. Some late 02s have rack and pinion. Comparing earlier 3rd Gen without rack and pinion is like oranges and apples. The fewer turns it takes on your steering wheel to go stop to stop the quicker the steering will be. You can turn the input shaft on a steering box and count the turns to see what you are getting before you install. A pair of vice grips will make it easy. I removed my 4&1/4 turn box and replaced it with a 3 turn box and the difference is unbelievable. I went from all-over-the-road to same as a car. More than worth the effort and I did the change myself. send me an e-mail if you wish. -- email address removed --
