i have a stock 95 12v auto 4x4. i dont do a lot of towing but i like making black smoke. lol. i plan on getting a hx-40 turbo, afe intake, and some injectors(i dont know what injectors to get either. ) and also a 4 in exhaust. thank you for your help.

Kit #

I would say get a #10 camplate and a 3kgsk and a afc spring kit and 370 injectors set you timing to 16* and you better plan on spending some money on your transmission too Oo.

With the '95 I went with a #5. It worked fine for me as long as you didn't push it to hard with a trailer on, then it would slip the clutch. Give Piers Diesel research a call and talk to them, they will help you out and give you a good deal.

everyone recomends the #10, but I'd get something that doesn't defuel on the big end... like he said, you're gonna need to address the transmission if you plan on doing a plate and injectors...

something like a #4 or #6 will keep the torque from hitting so hard down low, but won't defuel as hard as the #10 up top.

*I* would just break out the grinder on the stock plate... something like a #100 plate, and position it as necessary to save the transmission (do that with any plate you get obviously)

if you want some smoke and some more power on a budget, slide the stock plate all the way forward, slide the AFC housing all the way forward, and remove the AFC spring

i am pretty new with diesels but i am good with engines. the fuel plate is under the intake next to the fuel pump right. i think there is 4 bolts 2 regular, one is a flat head and the other is like a rivet? i am not sure what the afc is or how to adjust it. if you could give me some instructions or a website that has instructions that would be great. thanks a lot

if he doesn't have a better clutch or some transmission work that flat plate's probably gonna do a number on whatever friction material is putting the power to the wheels.
