Hey guys,I am wanting to get a different turbo for my 03 dodge automatic,I have a edge attitude 'HOT' stacked with a PPE accelarator downloader, plus what kind of injectors do I need?

I don't think you need injectors yet. That should be quite a combo. I would think an SPS 62/80 or a HTT 66 do you tow??

Just an FYI, if your going to start bombing your truck, start with a transmission that will be able to hold all this power. It won't take long to blow up your stock transmission. In that being said, I would recommend a DTT transmission, sps 62 turbo (or 66 if you don't tow) and F1 injectors.

I have an HTT 62/12 in mine. It is a fast spooling turbo, but you will notice a slight lag. I would recommend HTT because you can upgrade for cheap (I am not sure if other companies do the same or not) At the power level I am at the turbo works great, but I will be looking to upgrade in the future as I add more power.

I have a Super 62 from industrail injection and it's great. Industrial injection will upgrade the 62 to a 66 pretty cheap if you ever feel you need more too...

maybe a B1 also

Dollar for dollar the B1 has been surpassed by the HTT and II line of turbos IMO. The B1 was Unbelievable in its day but those days are gone now and you can have a better turbo for the same money as the B1's. My SPS66 is awesome but I was one of the first ones (besides JWilliams) on this board to run one. I found out that they arent the best for towing, Mine will surge with some weight behind it, Its liveable for me I can drive around it but I may downgrade to a SPS 62 in the future or just get a set of twins for better towing performance. But I still believe for a single the SPS 66 is very hard to beat day to day!

Agreed. I had read all the posts and figured I'd just baby the truck for a while then upgrade the trans. Two weeks ago, installed new turbo and at the same time went from Quad tow box to a TST - no other changes. Drove 100 easy miles as suggested to break in the turbo. The first time I got into the throttle hard enough to really spool the turbo was while cruising down the highway @ 55 MPH, top gear in lockup. Motor pulled right thru the stock converter clutch like it wasn't even there - I mean slipped it hard. Lesson learned. Last week had the transmission upgraded.

To your original question, I don't think you can go wrong with any II or HTT offering. I chose the 62 on the basis that I tow & had read about surging with the 66.

Best of luck,
Mike

Can't go wrong with Industrials' Super Phat Shaft 62. Its very reasonable pricewise to upgrade at a later time if you need more turbo.
