Alright, I am about to fork out the money for the twins for my 3rd gen. But which company makes the best kit. I have heard good things about PDR, have not heard much about ATS, and heard bad stuff about BD. Anybody got any info for me?

How much horsepower are you after? B D is fine for smaller horsepower trucks. Great for towing and not alot of mods. The A T S twins are great for higher horsepower trucks. They can support alot of power.

I am after right around 550 to 600 HP. I am hoping I can get there with my "hot juice", the twins, and some propane/nitrous/water-meth. I don't think I am going to touch the injectors, I have heard 3rd gens don't like injector mods. I know that they are only replacing the nozzle's of 3rd gens, but PDR still says it's a risky mod. I want a good reliable rig. So I am thinking that with my race transmission, the twins, edge, and some spray, I will achieve just that.

Call Rip rook at Source Automotive for the twins. Great pricing and service!

For injectors, F1 diesel. I don't know about the others, but I have heard that Don builds the injectors to last even with pressure boxes. :--)

Call J. R. at Adkins Diesel Performance, he can help you out with any questions you have and will work with you the best he can.

Probably! Oo.

I am real happy with my setup. Fast spool and tons of power. Bets of all, it's cleaner than any system I have seen short of a one off TIG job.

here is a picture of a 3rd gen with twins J. R. just done. I have seen this set up in person a few times and still drop my jaw every time.

how much does this J. R. Adkins charge for his twin set ups? Also while I am at it, I might as well ask about transmission's. Who makes the best one... BD... ATS... . NADP... . Gorand Bros.

what turbos are those? just wondering. I hear good things about JR Adkins

I have the BD twins and they are running great! I dynoed 592hp before adding the Superchips Flashpaq. I do know that BD says that even thought they only rate them for 550hp, it is because the intercooler limits flow too much. I am over 600 and planning on an intercooler next, with minimal to zero EGT problems. So, I think the BD kit would be great for a lot of guys in the high hp range. Add NOS or water/meth and I can see some big numbers coming out of these fast spooling turbos.

I am gonna give this JR Adkins a call and see what he has to say. But I still need some info on transmission's... I wish I had 10 grand to drop all at once... but I don't, so I decided to do the transmission first... I figure the transmission upgrade will open up all the other doors.
