Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Which Wire?? Holley Blue

Hey guys, I bit the bullet and bought a holley blue torun since my LP has 0 pressure on the gauge... .

Where should I hook into for the main power wire to turnt he pump on?

The red wire that goes to the stock fuel pump is gonna be the power for your holley blue. The other wire on the stock pump is not needed. I cut the wire off close to the stock pump & run it into my relay. Running a relay mounted on the firewall is a good idea & safer than just hooking it up. Make sure that you get a good solid ground too.

yea, i'll second the above. Not sure the ECM would like that much amperage going through to run the holley pump. relay is cheap and easy to wire up.

ok I cant find a Red wire on the lift pump..... I found the hot wire tho... . Need to get a relay and a Fitting I messed up... . But running the holley blue, thru the LP, I was getting 11psi cold. then I found the leaking fitting I screwed up so the gauge is unhooked... I'm going to pick up more hose, a fitting and a relay... so hopfully after my apartment hunting I'm leaving for now, I'll have to truck 100% done!
