Which wire to use as hot lead ?

Hello i recently bought a 1999 2500 4x4 and immediatly dropped the Edge EZ module. Then i installed the three most appropriate guages as more experienced CTD owners have suggested,EGT,fuel pressure and Boost. My question to you is which is the PROPER hot lead to tie into for the lights on the guages so they dim with the dash lighting at the same time. I've tried looking for a schematic,but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. My

tap into fuse #5 for the dimming or the light wire to the ashtray
