Which wire??

What wire do I tap into to illuminate my gauges. I would like to tap into the harness going to the headlight switch.

If memory serves there are two tan wires to the headlight switch plug. One is the door switch circuit(nogood), the other is the dimmer output which will give you a variable low - 12v against ground. Be sure to check it with a volt meter and the doors shut to ensure ya got the rightun!!

The Tan (Brown) wire behind the headlight switch. Just get a wire "Tap in" and your all set.

(not that I need this connection for my SPA gauges but, I previously installed VDO Vision gauges so... ) I made the gauge dimmer light connection on the radio dimmer wire when I had the dash fascia off for another upgrade. Once the dash fascia is off the radio can be easily removed in a minute or two.
