While I'm In For A Safety Recall...

I just got the H36 steering drag link inner joint and damper bracket recall. My truck DOB is 3/08 and has 5,600 miles. No problems yet.



This bothers me, but I guess they don't make them like they use to. My 89 IDI has been placed on inactive duty and never had to go back to the dealer from the day I bought it.



While I'm in the dealer, I'm going to ask what flash level I'm at and buy grease for the U-joint at oil change interval. Besides that, what other stuff might I consider?

You need to have a concern to get a flash by a Dealer (by the book). You might tell them your truck has a hesitation as you tip in the throttle lightly. This should get you updated to the AR level
