Guys here is a nice setup for those who have not the tools to custom install lights in your rear bumper. This unit fits over the factory receiver and plugs into your factory trailer light connector.

I installed mine... . looked at it for 5 minutes... . smacked it lightly..... said no way. I sent it back. Way too much cheap plastic for me. The kind of plastic that you paint immediately or would see that dimpled look forever. I guess some people like it. It would definetly be an example of a function-over-form product. I would pay more for a more physically secure product. Honestly, I was very dissappointed.

This is not a slam--dirrectly, just a different opinion from a guy who spent for a $46,000 truck and want a better system.

On the brighter side, hats of to Gino's for an excellent return policy and full refunds! :D

I like mine. There might be better lighting systems out there. But this worked for me.

It was quick, easy and functional.

I like the extra light when I'm backing out of my garage and when I'm backing up in the parking lot where I work.

I did buy mine at Genos also.

I also made a homemade Tow Hook/hitch to protect the lights also.

I had one on my truck for several years. Had to really watch it when backing into trailers, not stepping on it (kids) and keeping it clean. It worked good most of the time. But it finally just rotted and corroded out. THe back, being open fills with road guck and mud. I used it's wiring and robbed it's relay and bought two small lights and wired them in recently and they seem to work better.

This is good to know. I was thinking of getting one, but sounds cheap. If your like me it would not last long either. In the picture it looks like quality. Thanks for setting it strait. I can understand others that need light but do not have the ability for lack of tools.

Options are good. I have the tools to fabricate, I just didn't want to cut into my brand new truck bumper yet. :)

I'll probably just run mine in the Oct - Mar timeframe anyway.

I have had two units and even though they are made of plastic they are pretty tough. I put mine through a lot of abuse and they are still hold up strong.

I'm not too keen on the plastic bezel either. Can you use the wiring and the lights that come with the kit and create your own mounting set-up for either the bumper or frame?

Well... for as much as they charge (with shipping too) you would be alot cheaper to just buy a pair of driving lights that come with a relay and wire your own... .

New guy here...

They are easy to steal. Had a couple of sets torn off the truck while parked in a lot. Eventually ended up with KC reverse lights. No problems now.

This is one of the few items I've ever sent back to Geno's. Finally ended up making up custom brackets and wiring in my own... ;)

I've had mine for four years with out any problems. The only issue I've had is changing out the hitch, what PITA! This has me fired up to make the switch, gotta get to work on this...

piece of junk... . the lights work good, but you need long hitches to pass thru it, it is very fragile, and you have to lay underneath the take the pin in and out. if you dont tow then its ok, just dont hit it or it will self destruck
