Nice ride Bob! What make is that grill guard? I am in the market for one to replace my luverne (rusty) and I like yours. Is it stainless steel? If you can, E-mail me if you can with a price for the grillguard.

Cool Truck!!!!!! I like the rams head on the rear window. Who ever processed you photos messed up, why is the ground all white? I'ed go back to the photo shop and ask for my money back.

LSMITH,

I wanted something original, I had ordered Smittybilt but was on backorder for 2 months. I then found the BAR II. It is Stainless Steel. All my outside accessories are Stainless, don't want to mess with rust.
I got the Brushguard from Brush Country Truck Accessories it is a BAR II. The cost was $570. 00 plus shipping. They wanted $183. 00 to ship it to me from Texas. I found a trucking outfit in Spokane that only charged me $83. 00. It is shipped from New York Tal & Hadas, LTD. so ask them to ship it directly to you from New York, or even a local shipper, it may save you some money.

Cooker,
The CB antennas are Power Sticks, they don't make them anymore. They have worked well for me.

abledog and Missouri Mule,

I seem to have this problem with white ground quite often this time of year up here. Guess I'd better file the camera in the circular file and get a new one. #ad

Bob,

Can you say a little more about your CB? I'm in the market and was wondering how well you like yours. Do the dual antenna's provide and benefit? What process did you use in making your fender mounting? Drill?die cutter, shielded wire? Thanks! Dave

Big-D,

I mounted the antennas to a special mount made for Dodge pickups, it uses your existing fender bolts to mount to the truck.

Click on Mounts, and scroll down to Dodge mounts. Dodge CB antenna mount

I have a Uniden PC78LTW that has been tweeked and peeked. It swings to about 30 watts.

You might want to do a search on other CB treads. Here is one I was involve in last year when I got me radio. PC78LTW

I have run dual (co-phased) antennas for years. I personally think that they work better and look better. I know some do not agree with me. Back in my CB days (70's) I would try a single antennas (Big Momma was one), my experience was at that time, the dual antennas definately talked and received better.

You might want to check out fellow TDR member Mike Brolins CB mount. I have it and I can't say enough about the mount and Mike, both are Great!

I thought dual antennas were only to be used where you could space them 8 feet apart (minimum) That's why on the Big rigs you see them waayyy out on the mirrors. Most CB shops will tell you that the best bet is a single antenna mounted to the body in the center-most point of the vehicle. Of course, I'm no expert and wouldn't dream of drilling a big hole in the center of MY roof!

my $0. 02

Scooby,

That's odd. The CB shop here in my town suggest one is just fine. Two is for looks with a little better directional range. They said nothing about them being too close on both mirrors. I don't know?

BB, NICE TRUCK... if I saw that bad a$$ cow catcher in my mirror I would get out the way!
