Isn't that commonly oil being burned? How many miles you got on that thing?

White smoke somstimes means a fuel LEAN condition. With engine off do the key off and on 3 times and and read the codes from th odometer digits. If codes show up write them down and match them to codes list for problems.

Is it just on start up ? Or even after its warmed up ? It could be just condensation or maybe a coolant leak.
