Another interesting tidbit from the AADT Newsgroup. Makes for a good read, and makes ya think when the next auto purchase comse up.
Edit: Toyota apparently has a PR rep scanning the net for this thing, they claim over a million in donation, plus nearly a million in dealer and employee donations. In addition, Toyota has (according to the PR) offered use of the Newark NJ port facilities for anything NYC needs, as well as cars and forklifts for transport and material handling. I'll edit again if I find more info contradicting the quoted below. Still, it should be thought provoking when the next time to buy a vehicle comes up.
