Not to many have the combination you are looking for.

How about 6 1/2" front, 5" rear with 37X13. 50X17 Mickey Thompson/Dick Cepek FCII's radials.

I had 37X12. 50X16. 5 Goodyear GS-A's with a 4 1/2" lift.

The Goodyears were 36. 4" tall, 12. 4" wide, with 9 1/2" tread width.

Could fit them with 4 1/2" of lift.

The MT/DC FCII's are 37. 1" tall, 13. 7" wide, and 11 1/2" tread width.

Needed a little more lift to clear them.

Most of your 38", or 38. 5" tires are actual 37. 2" - 37. 8" tall, and a little wider.

I went with the Cepek Long Arm Kit for the front suspension.

This will locate the axle foward to the center of the wheel opening.

You can position them wherever you want.

The rear is a custom 5" spring pack I had made locally.

Removed the factory 5" riser blocks and replaced with 3".

I also have a 2" body lift that I made back in 1994.

It is made out of 4" wide by 2" rectangular tubing, 1/4" wall, welded to body mounts, and used grade 9 bolts.

Since I still tow with my truck, this is as high as I could go.

I could easily go up 2" + on the suspension for larger tires with this setup.

Here is a pic. Rest are HERE.
