What are you going to do about the ATF's January 31th ruling? Hopefully the courts will over turn this. Congress makes laws not an government agency.

Options currently:
1. Destroy the fire arm
2. Turn it in to the government to be destroyed
3. Remove and destroy the brace
4. Register it as a short barrel riffle(and having your name and gun in a government data base) NOT!

Un-numbered, hope this gets overturned.

Maybe not the least expensive; but, add a couple of stamps to get a stock and suppressor are other options. Get a sling and wait for the overturn might be a decent option at this point.

While I am not in favor of any 2a regulation, I can't see where that thing would benefit a law abiding citizen. It would be about as comfortable and as much use as a steel post belted to your waist. While you are drawing your firearm and getting that thing settled, the bad guy with a slingshot could whack you between the eyes with a 1/2" ball bearing....

That thing would only benefit a bad guy who knows in advance he is going to shoot someone. To conceal carry or even open carry, nope....

"The exact number of braces already in circulation is unclear, but the number is well into the millions. The ATF itself estimates three to seven million of the devices exist. The Congressional Research Service puts the number much higher at somewhere between 10 and 40 million."

So they passed a ruling that if everyone registered them, they could in no way handle the paper work on their end!
