Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Who has best prices on Cummins parts

Can anyone reccomend who has the best prices on Cummins OEM parts? I am in need of a lift pump.



Almost 150,000 and have never replaced it. 98. 5 24V 4x4 AT. (stock)



Also need to get the trans rebuilt.



I recently joined TRD and am learning a WHOLE lot!

Bob is right about best part prices. Here is a little more help. A phone number to get you in contact. 1-800-595-5050 should put you into nearest cummins parts house. Be advised to have your engine number handy as they need it to assure that you are getting the right part. It is located on a black strip vertically mounted on front of engine on drivers side. If lift pump ask for washer kit to go with. . Steve in northern Ca.

Check out your local Freightliner truck dealer, the prices are lower than Cummins. Lift pumps for $120, anyone?

Also don't forget to get the new pigtail to go with it, I'm pretty sure they will tell you but maybe not. I paid here in SLC, 167 for the pump and about 8 for the new harness. Yeah, and like steve said a new washer kit for the banjos. I changed mine, and got everything back together then saw on the floor that one of the sealing washers had come off when I was trying to get it started and had to go back in a put it on. I reused my old washers, but installing new ones sounds like a much better idea.
