Who has done the Smarty PoD upgrade yet?

I'm going to ship my smarty tomarrow to get the PoD upgrade done. I was just wondering who has done it, and how do you like it? Likes or dislikes?

I love mine. I set my revo setting the way I like (can't adjust these on the fly#@$%!, maybe some day) then tune #9 to the truck and back down to 70ish or less depending on what I'm doing. With my few mods anything above 74 gets to hot. Before POD I could only go up to #5 safely. I now have more power with less smoke. The smoke before was embarassing now its not so bad. I'm happy with it.

I have POD on my jr and like it. I can select the perf setting and tune a level safe for my clutch but higher than the tow tune. I run on level 80 on perf.

One of the best mods I've done. The adjustability is instant, and very smooth. I'm not convinced of the fuel mileage gains though... at least I've not seen much yet. I keep mine plugged in all the time.

It IS possible to get an OBD2 port "Y" cable, BUT first read post#1 at this link--http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthread.php/obd-ii-port-how-run-2-gauges-one-1720.html

It is a Honda site, but this guy is reporting that his ScanGauge and another meter he runs on the "Y" fight for the signal. I don't know if this would happen in our truck, but it is interesting info nonetheless. The Y cable is only $15.

This is what I used, and it works great!!!! With the 90° connector plugged in, it's completely out of the way. Order it in 2ft or 6ft length depending on where you want to keep your Smarty!

I just poped the vehicle plug out of its mount and then just pluged the smarty in so it wasn't hanging down.

Thanks everyone for your input. I'm excited to get it back. Another quick question. If i leave the smarty plugged in and i shut the truck off and then restart it, do I have to go throught all the steps again or can I adjust the settings on the fly once I start moving again? Basically, what does the screen show? Hopefully you understand my question.

It just keeps showing the PoD screen. You don't have to do anything to it. Just keep it plugged in all the time, and it's always ready to go!

It doesn't draw enough current to even matter. Just make sure you starte the truck once every couple years, and you'll be fine...

anyone have any pictures of this hooked up? i mean is the large Smarty box allways plugged in? thats one reason i like my Edge is that is small and just hit a button. but i have heard good stuff about POD>
