Lets see a running list of 800+ Cummins and whether or not the internal rotating assy is stock. If not, just say so. You don't have to give away secrets :-laf

Jim, I thought your last dyno was 804 hp? Was that corrected?

Yep, you know those Vegas numbers are always corrected! 6-7% in that case, put me at 750ish uncorrected, then 2 weeks later with the exact same setup I did 782 in Dallas. The 793 number was from Dallas again last fall, and with that 745 uncorrected on #2 only... ... who knows if it will ever do it again!

On a side note, the old motor looked fine with the exception of some piston shrinkage/blow-by, the bearings and cyl walls looked fine at 141K.

Hey Jim was that a misprint in the TDR mag? 804?

That is what I was going to say as well, didn't Joe D. put 800 out of his stock bottom end engine also with a 1 1/4" input in the NV4500?

Joe

Yes, Joe was using the stock 1-1/4" input shaft with his sach clutch. He made 800 with it. He was also running stock, re-torqued head bolts too!

Lenny at dynomite diesel did 817 uncorrected with a single and nitrous. .

So who actually has the highest "real" dyno number so far?

Well I guess Lenny would be the only one so far then! :D Uncorrected and on the west coast. Also verified by many many witnesses! Don't get much more "real" than that! :D
