I have the BADDEST 12 valve in the TDR.
Oh, Im sorry, I thought this was a fuel mileage topic -10 to 12 mph consistently since day one. I think that gives me the title of baddest fuel mileage. Never, and I repeat, Never got over 400 miles out of a tank of fuel since the day I drove off the lot #ad

98 2500 4x4 QC auto "one of the last 12 valvers- late Dec 1997" 305 70 16, K&N ,260/608 torque plate,EGT and Boost gauge under ashtray. Bought a spray can of CAT-BE-GONE. Ring removed- Whats next folks????
 
I think Dave Mitchell would get my vote, although Autowurks' race truck is awesome too.

Dodges" be separated from "drag strip
only" trucks. (i. e. : trucks modified
placed in/on a trailer and towed to
the track)


Piers' old truck was near 450 H. P. and
over 1000 torque. He had e-mailed me
a few days ago about the exact #s and
at the moment I can't find it. I believe
Joe Donnelly is over 500 horespower at
this time. "My 6 Eats V-8's"(Adam) also
has high horespower/torque #'s as well
as "HVAC" and "DieselB59" (Chris). They
all definitely have me beat at 381 H. P. /
1069 Torque. My numbers came from the
"Mustang Dyno" at the "Scheid Diesel
Rally" in September of last year. Also,
at that rally last year "wwcd2" (Carl)
had dyno figures of: 384 H. P. /1036 Torque.
He achieved those numbers with the
following "upgrades" to the 24 Valve
auto: "Hot PE #3, DD I's and a "piggyback"
VA box.

In the latest issue of the TDR (Issue 31)
Scott Dalgleish did an article on "BD
Dyno Days" from last year. According to
his article the "top trucks recorded
450, 375 and 354 horespower with top
honors going to BD's Piers Harry. "
This was on page #54 of the magazine.

I don't know you personally and I've never met you, but I seen that 'ol 12 valve can do.

Glad to see that you didn't have to waist too much time with that hard starting Powerjoke.
 
I have to say that Dave Mitchel probably has the "most" power of anyone I know of.
Lets see if I can get most of what I've "heard" of by more than one person.
Turns 5400 rpms during pulls,
around 800 becouse they have never been able to get a dyno to hold all they can make,
twin turbos at 85 psi boost
6000 rpm cam
head
monster pump
370 hp injectors with lazer cut nozzles.
and for the rest check out there web page, you'll see by that picture just how much fuel that thing is pumping.
It makes mine anemic at only
475hp and 1032 with #2 only
530hp and 1140 with lpg(with another 50 on the way, I'm putting Nowels system on it of which he's made 110hp on the dyno)
and 590hp with 1200 ftlbs
all of the #'s were at 24-2500 at the rear tires in 5th gear.
my truck has 3. 54 gears and 35x12. 50x16. 5 bfg's on for these runs.
More on the way here to, either the new Piers super injectors Joe is testing this week or maybe some extrude honed 370's or even a set from Enterprize, in any form more fuel. I'm also saving for a set of twins.
fyi Piers has made 520 on the dyno but he started breaking things. #ad

Daves is over a thousand, right now, with one LARGE turbo.

He will have more turbos this year! How many?

I don't know what mine will Dyno, but I'll wager a case of beer it will be more than Johnboys! We'll find out at Muncie!

Hmmm, about four or five boxes hung on that very trying 44 pump, injectors like fire hose nozzles, 80 pounds of fuel pressure, dual HX55 turbos, head ported paper-thin, a veritable OCEAN of electrons. All to flex an automagic transmission. Go for it! #ad


Just be sure you have at least 500 hp at May Madness and several sets of tires #ad
