These guys advertise in the TDR and seem to have some great products - their (Carbon Kevlar) Front pads -($170) which they make in the US - improve in braking as you apply pressure and apparently last 2-8 times as long - experience please..... they have a back kit with new retuen springs (I have drume) and same technology shoes (Carbon-Kevlar) and bigger wheel cylinders are $270... .

EGR Performance Brakes, brakes for Dodge, Ford, Chevy, GMC, Tahoe, Yukon, Excursion, Dakota, Durango or whatever you drive.

some detailed data on the Brake Pads... .

I hope this doesn't violate some posting protocol... ...

Pads & Shoes

Special Carbon Kevlar integrally molded Disc Pads and Brake Shoes. The latest technology now allows us to provide "State of the Art" Pads and Shoes! Heat cured to remove air pockets from the compressed friction material to eliminate brake noise and provide unsurpassed heat transfer. Utilizing Carbon Kevlar technology, the fiber strands in conjunction with metal particles combine to absorb vibration, a leading cause of brake noise. Allowing faster heat dissipation, a major cause of warped and stress cracked rotors. Quicker heat dissipation means less fade and less pedal pressure, which in turns results in less pad and rotor wear. The dynamic coefficient actually grips better as the temperature goes up. Our Carbon Kevlar pads and shoes provide unequaled stopping distances for heavy loads and high heat applications. And are the ultimate for heavy towing and load requirements. Available for most all vehicles and trailers as well.

TECH DATA:

DENSITY: 3. 0 TO 3. 2.

HARDNESS: 81. 3 Rockwell.

MATERIAL: Carbon Kevlar Metallic and Ceramic

DYNAMIC COEFFICIENT: Cold application . 425 increases to . 485 when running at higher temperatures.

CONSTRUCTION: Utilizes ceramic inner layer between the friction material and the backing plate to reduce heat penetration to the brake fluid system.

I have them on my Benz - been pleased... So far they have lasted 40K (and look to be about 50% gone) where the OE pads only lasted 30K.

i have their big caliper upgrade with the good pads and stainless braided lines on my 1500. nice stuff and Glenn is awesome to deal with.

couple friends of mine have their 2500 rear disk conversion and are happy with them
