WHERE ARE YOU GUYS BUYING THIS STUFF!!!!

Look online for "amsoil". You'll find the main site. You should be able to find a local "dealer" there.

Then they'll offer you "preferred customer" status and try to make you a dealer too.

Resistance is futile.

I am happy with it.

75-140 in the rear, 75 -90 in the front and NV 4500.

I get to inspect parts frequently, with what I do to this poor truck, and the lube is doing its job and holding up well.

I use it in everything. I use enough that it paid any times over to become a preferred customer and not have to pay retail. I'm lucky enough that I can pick mine right up from that plant in Superior WI.

We pulled the motor out today to chck the bearings/crank area before we put head/twins in. No a spot of sludge, no bearing wear (110,000 miles) and the oil (Amsoil series 3000 5w-30) had been in the truck for 95,000 miles with a Purofiner bypass filter. We ttok out limited slip in rear to replace clutches-they were wore out. No bad for amsoil the way I drive. :rolleyes: :D

I didn't notice any change in the diffy after going to Amsoil Series 2000 lube. I also have an open spool 3. 54 so no clutches to worry on the additive factor. I do believe Amsoils makes some of the finest gear lubes available.

Answering the others that chimed in on other applications;

I ran the Series 3000 5W-30 in the Cummins and dumped it after a year. I get much better year around performance with Delvac 1 synthetic. No noticeable difference in cold weather, but much better summer performance with Delvac 1 oil.

Once the Amsoil gas engine 5W-30 is gone, the mommy van will get Delvac 1 , too. The engine vents way too much on any 5W-30 and I didn't have the same trouble running 10W-30 oils. I really prefer a 5W for winter usage and my yearly changes.

Not a slam, just my observations.

Recently someone here did a poll regarding the most used motor oil, anyone have the link? I think Rotella T was #1, can recall where Amsoil was, might be time for a new poll anyway.
