Who makes the finest Aluminum Flatbed

I am looking into getting an aluminum flatbed for my 2003 DRW. I have seen some nice ones from Sierra Nevada, Hillsborough, but the best I think I have seen is at www.800toolbox.com.



Who makes the finest aluminum flatbed?

The Hillsboro flatbeds look nice. Haven't personally seen the other ones mentioned. I have no idea who built the one I bought used. No name on it. I would say it is towards the bottom of the pile. It isn't biult very heavy. For what I do though, it is fine.

I just looked at one near Ravenna, Ohio, it smoked the Hillsboro, being sold down the street. Excellent craftsmanship. Small shop, only a couple guys work there.

Base price was $3800. 00 I'll find the information.

Gene- check out Reading Body in (where else,) Reading, PA! I've got one of their aluminum service bodies and have been very happy with it.

In my neck of the woods, ProTech is the way to go. From Flatbeds, headache racks, or full on aluminum trailers, these guys do it.
