Thanks, TDR Staff

Here's a Ford I would own!

I Passed the Washington State Emissions Test.

Ok so I hear that ford owns cummins and that some day ford 3/4 and 1 tons will have a cummins and the dodge is going to benz as in Mercedes-benz?????????? Is this truth or fiction???????????

ford doenst own cummins... they owned cummins stock a few years back... this gets everyone confused, theres a couple threads on this website explaining it all

Will this rumor ever die. I think it's being kept alive by wishful thinking on behalf of all the ford truck salesman. For even they know that the Cummins motor is far superior than anything they have to offer.

I don't think Cummins owns Jacobs, but I could be wrong too! I know they work closely in development for Cummins motors, however I do think that Cummins owns C-Brake, a head mounted compression brake sorta like the Jake.

"NICK"

Reading the book about Clessie; as I recall he came up with the idea after he parted with Cummins and was doing what you might call innovative work for them(Cummins); Mostly they ignored him and with the brake they ignored him firmly so he went to Jacobs Machine who manufature Jacobs Chucks to this day and had them build and sell the "Jake Brake" ever after. I think the contact with Jacobs came because a daughter was about to marry a Jacobs Girl.

The book about Clessie is a good read and written by a son Lyle I think.

Haliburton owns Cummins as well as International, Cat, and MB.

They also developed the Hurricane machine that Carl Rove has been using in the basement of the White House ... though unfortunately Rove is being hassled with this Plame garbage and GW was trying to use the Hurricane machine last week and screwed it up and sent the latest storm to his brother's state.

I'm trying to figure out what Haliburton is, and then what Fatcat is smoking, and then it gets to the hurricane machine :-laf :-laf . Very good placement in the "Ford owns Cummins" post for the week.

All this time I just thought Cummings owned all of Cummins, and half of Dodge, which is being fully funded by Ford, that only agreed to do so if they turned over all Cummins stock to them so they can once again make a run at Cummings, and finally Own the General Motors, Cummins, and have an interest in the Dodge-Chrystler division!!!!! :D :--)

Ford used to own cummings & cummins but sold them and moved to the superior v8 design for deisel pickups(mainly to keep the service centers busy with warranty work since the sales & marketing department were developing ads stateing they are #1 and not actaully selling trucks). Cummings & cummins later merged into one company known today as cummins.
