Reese which is now owned by a parent company whose name I forget.

Do a search under Reese hitches and it should pop up. Reese is probably the oldest hitch maker in the industry.

What!!!! Buy versus build and you wanna buy!!! Yer slippin' Robert, slippin' fast. :D:D

Well, to tell the truth and not disappoint you too much, I am building my own rail system for a Reese Signature Series 5th wheel. I am looking for ideas of how the rails normally run hence the original question. I will post pics of the hacking i am currently doing so you will not be disappointed. ;)

If anyone thought using a 2nd gen rail mount would be easy, guess what. You would be as wrong as me! :-laf

For anyone that asks why I am doing this, I like the under bed rail system better so nothing is in the bed.

5th wheel

I have a 5th wheel hitch that I took off one of my 93's

I have no use for it. If anyone needs it please drop me a line

I will sell it or trade it for any reasonable offer ... . Or perhaps any unreasonable offer... Terry 301-219-7399

I talked to one of the engineers at B&W hitches a few back. . He said if I needed anything to call the company, they might could help me out. A while back, I ordered some turnover knobs for my cousin's new ride, and they sent me a nice setup, albeit I had to manufacture my own side plates..... that was for an '85 very similar to yours... . might be worth a shot, but seeing as how you already have the reese... . just a suggestion, their contact page... . I don't know how many times I've seen used trucks with a big ole hunk of plate steel thrown atop the frame and welded all down the side. Then drill a hole and voila!! I call it a Red-Gooseneck. I've seen guys do this on brand new trucks and they don't even use new steel or paint anything. I cringe when I see it.
