What businesses does anyone deal with for your truck parts? One supplier who handles most if not all your needs, or do you spread your money among various vendors. I am in the market for front brake hardware for the 94. I am looking at new rotors(with the cast hub extension), pads, and bearings. Need to replace the calipers as well. Might be inclined to go with ball joints while I have it apart. Leading up to a new ps box.

Does anyone use the double or triple piston calipers, and how do you like them? I am trying to achieve stopping power like the 2000 has. Where do I go from here?

Thanks!!

Generic parts like filters I buy from Genos. Dodge specific parts I've always purchased from "K" at MOPAR4LESS which is Advantage Dodge in Farmington, NM. K provides excellent service and their prices and prompt shipping are great. Save sales tax also.

Agree with what everybody said, however when it comes to engine stuff, I have learned the hard way years ago, ONLY put Cummins stuff on that engine!

Harvey, do you have a link for whatever "K" is? I didn't have any luck trying mopar4less.com.

Personally, I'm also looking for a good internet source for miscellaneous parts. Brake stuff in particular since I'm going to need new rotors and drums soon. In the past I've used Summit and Jegs, and while their service is good they're pretty pricey.

4wheelparts stores are running a sale on power slot rotors. If you purchase the rotors, they give you their pads for free. I was told they were repackaged Hawks. Others may be running the same deal. I try to use them whenever I can. Excellent customer service.

As for multi-piston calipers, you are SOL unless you do the 92-96 ford ball joint out conversion.

My favorites. . .

Engine- Cummins mostly
Truck- Mopar4Less.com, Rock Auto, Napa

Mopar4less.com does not have an online catalog or ordering system, you have to call them on the phone for anything: 800-748-2139 you have to state "Internet Parts" when they answer otherwise the prices will be a lot higher

scotty-u regarding brakes. . . you are pretty limited on what you can upgrade on the older (pre 2000) Ram trucks. Unless you spend a lot of $$$$ you are stuck with the single piston calipers. Guys with 2000 and newer Rams can upgrade their brakes to 3rd-Gen rotors and calipers pretty easily, not the case on the older trucks.

On my '96 I got slotted rotors and Performance Friction pads from rock-auto, and rebuilt/blueprinted calipers and braided SS hoses from EGR Brakes. . . those upgrades helped a lot EGR Performance Brakes
