I'm just looking for a fridge/warmer to take on long trips with me. I have an obcession with diesel station corn dogs, but it's going to kill me more than bathing in diesel fuel already is.
I have one made by Coleman that works pretty well. Bought it at Wal-Mart for around $90. You can buy an AC adapter for around $15. Keeps things pretty cold, the manual says around 40 degress lower that the outside temp.
I have one that I think is made by Coleman (have to check to make sure) that I used this past summer on a trip, works pretty good. One word of caution, if you leave it plugged into the truck over night disconnect one of your batteries if not you will not get started in the morning. Don't ask how I know this.
I have the one by Coleman. It works okay, but only cools to about 30-35 degrees below ambiant temperatures. So if it is 75 degrees in the cab the temp will be 45 degrees. It will drain your truck batteries if left plugged in and locked up in the cab for two days.
