flex looks good, but i think you could get more with the sway bar disconnected... ;-)

Sway bar end links?

Greg,

How long are those sway bar end links? Looks like they are adjusted longer than stock. If so, doesn't that offset the purpose of the billet drop blocks?

I'm confused and bewildered now - I've debated the drop blocks, vs. longer end links and keeping my DSS steering gear brace. Can't do both... but KORE has said the drop blocks are "more effective".

From what I remember from geometry, longer end links or drop blocks should have the same effect. (or, something approaching negligible difference) I surely can't see the geometry being THAT much different between the two options.

What exactly is the KORE philosophy for the sway bar geometry? And why do you have the drop blocks AND your end links longer than stock.

Hoping to clarify,

John

This is a six inch lift guys. Anti-Sway Bar is tubular and the links are longer.

Ah, so... .

Thanks for the eye-opener, Greg. I didn't read your original post closely enough.

Looks nice, very similar to my set up, except Deavers. Why aren’t you running the new torsion bar setup? I only see one potential is with it.

Nice work Greg.

Here is what I have seen so far:

6 inches of lift.

12 inches of travel.

30 inches of flex

VR coils

Deaver leaf packs

Sounds awesome to me...

I, For one, LIKE the lifted look...

Sounds awesome! How would this kit tow compared to stock and some of your smaller lift kits?

Awsome!!

Greg,

I was just about to order another lift until reading your thread on Saturday. I wasnt quite ready to cut on my $50,000 rig to get my 37's to fit. Looks great!!

Greg, Still can't see the advantage of the drop block vs. the longer sway bar end links! What gives? I'm concerned with ground clearance-approach angle with the drop blocks.

Waiting for the fenders to arrive!

Just saw this thread

Had to post. Sounds great Greg!! I have always wanted a KORE lift, believing that they are of very high value and reputation. I am very intersested in this kit. I need the added hight due to all the mud around my area and the snow that I run through. The body clearance is what is the most important to me. I do not run anywhere off road at break neck speeds, just slow and steady. Thanks Greg and Kent for all the hard work that you guys do. I cant wait to see this kit.

What's it score on the RTI ramp?

30" doesn't seem like a whole lot to me for a long wheelbase rig, though I've never lifted the front of my Jeep with a forklift either.

All I know is when I'm on the trail and I start lifting a tire, I'm twisted up pretty hard!

There isn't a whole lot of difference with the swaybar removed, other than it offroads better. I took mine off and couldn't feel a big difference w/out it until slamming turns at 70+ mph. The drop brackets give more clearance for the reservoirs but still doesn't line up the endlinks correctly. I took my stock front shocks, cut the shaft to length and welded a heim joint on it to bolt to the axle, and put two bends to bring the endlink forward 1"(like a jeep's endlink is w/a lift kit) no drop blocks on the swaybar and seems to be the best setup for sportscar turns. Seriously, if you offroad, just ditch the swaybar. :)
