What was the deal with that duramax dually? I seen him go the distance, about 340 feet, he had to be on propane (cheating), whats up, any thoughts on this and why did'nt anyone cry foul, or ask to look under his hood. The four tires in the back must have been filled with concrete. We left before the second round, how did he do with the sled weight moving rate dialed up?

The reason he could go that far was the sled was turned all the way down.

Also he went and added some tires to the bed of the truck... pretty big ones at that. Weight helps when pulling, thats why I felt a lil out of place since my truck was the smallest and lightest.

If you look at the videos, look at where the sled weight is on the pulls..... when the Duramax went that far the weight was just at the wheels on the sled. Once they dialed up the sled he didn't go very far.

The guy from the dealership at the event, said they did it to get the crowd going. How about the last minute Ford contender. That guy had fun the next day in the mud pit, too.

Head to toe mud.

the Ford was Nathan [sp?] from Arizona... very nice kid. . did 330 HP at the dyno I believe... . showed up at the pull saying he didn't know why he was there only to have fun with us as he was worried about break'in something as all were with this track... he is the type of guy who gives diesel owners a great name !

I was there, I was the one with all the lights:D

I did 232 ft then 176ft after the weight was turned up.

Just have a 4 wire blu chip box znd that is it. oh and a south bend clutch:D Peter, if I had any doubts about your clutch, they sold me to perfection on this!!!! I will get one of yours agin when this go out (whenever that will be... . )
