Who was looking for a fold flat floor?

I personally wouldn't give up my floor for subwoofers, but someone would. Hope this helps.

Great find, thanks! Mine got lost in the order when the system first accepted '03's last year. Didn't realize they weren't there until I had the keys in my hand.

Just wanted to let everyone know what a great guy Tony is. When I saw his post I sent him an email explaining why I felt I could really use the folding floor. Even though he had already entered a bid on ebay, he pulled out of the bidding process so that I would stand a better chance of getting the folding floor.



I did win the auction, paid more than I should have, but will get every pennys worth of use out of it. Thanks Tony - you are a true gentleman. You make me proud to be a part of this group - - so proud in fact that I promise to quit whinning about the thin paint on my '03.

I'm ordering the load floor in mine, but will probably take it out for speakers. I just don't haul that much inside the truck. If I do take it out, I'll offer it up for sale here first (and at a better price than ebay).

Load Floor

Hey guys, I've got a load floor (both sides) for an 03. Took mine out for speakers and really didn't need it anyway. $325 on ebay?! :--) Just give me a decent offer and they are yours. PM me!

Since there can't be that many people willing to sell them out of their trucks, has anyone investigated how much Dodge is charging for the fold flat floor pieces? I also messed up my order when I originally got my truck in 9/02, so I missed out on this great option and would love to add them in.

raden - According to the parts guys at my local Dodge dealer, the parts total up to somewhere around $1,100. If you can buy one off of someone else I think you'd be far better off.



ttreibel - Your comment about not having the right seats has me worried. I know that to order the folding floor from the factory that you have to have the split seat option. Other than the fact that the folding floor is also split, I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work with a regular, non-split seat. I sure hope I'm right as I've got the plain seat and would hate to think I've just bought something that won't work for me. Anybody know any reason why the folding floor wouldn't work with a regular seat?

DCSCOTT I hope you can make it work I have always figured if I went the route for the folding cargo hatch that I would find the whole seat with all the parts at the junkyard sometime in the future for like 500 dollars. I plan on using this truck at least 10 years. I got 12 years out of my last truck a furd f250 7. 3 1990 diesel, so I am waiting a year or two for the seat upgrade. My new truck was a Dave Smith special so I took what they had and walked out the door with tax and license for 31K.

Whell, the fold flat fits on the rails for the split seat. You may be able to drill holes in the floor and bolt the inside braces to it (will take 2 persons tho - one under and one on top). Gud Luk and hope it fits. Try to look at one on the dealers lot to get a better idea.

I'm bidding on a set on eBay, and hoping they don't go too high. Don't really need them, but I play in a couple bands, and sort of hate putting my trumpet cases on the seats... but they wouldn't last long in the open bed.



I've never seen a truck without the split rear seats. Is the storage bin under the seat partitioned, or just a long empty space?

The area under the non-split seat IS partitioned. Two seperate wells, one on each side. Good luck on the aucton.
