Have seen the thread - "what was your best deal on your new truck".

Now, it seems to me the reader/s have to sort thru a lot of various

models, options, tax and license included - not included, etc. -

Then figure whether the poster included the rebates or not, etc.

Some never said "where" they bought their truck.

Think credit should be given where credit is due!

So, tried to "cut to the chase" on this -

Please tell us what dealer / sales rep deserves the credit

for getting your business!

What part of the country - where is the dealer?

Lastly, I will rate the best quotes (to me) being from TDR "regulars",

TomeyGun at Fusz Dodge and Dave Smith Motors (by one of Rick's co-workers).

Sorry, never got around to Dishman - I'm sure right up there too . . . . ah . . make that "down" there - - 'cause we're talking price!

Unfortunately time and distance got in the way of traveling to one of these

folks for me, and bought locally (San Diego CA area) at Poway Dodge, 1% under invoice before rebates. But those TDR "regulars" deserve some of the credit for that also - by being a "benchmark" for the best pricing!

ep pricing, 4-5 percent below invoice. no extra charges for destination and such. price is on the invoice not set by the dealer. I have one available if there is a taker.

central NY

Scoville -Meno Dodge . . Fairest deal and good service to boot . Traded in a one year old powerstroke ford on the 2004. 5 Dodge. Took a price hit as I knew I would . Did my homework with KBB and NADA ,newspaper and such and did the best I could. Family type dealer ,knowledgeable sales people made a satisfied customer.

Enumclaw Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Enumclaw, Washington was terriffic. Invoice plus rebates. Service department has been excellent with my Durango and expect they will be the same with my truck. Ask for Julie Bartholomew in sales and Josh Wojan in service. Tell them Ray Smith sent you for a no-nonsense deal.

I use 2 dealers... . Rob Crosswhite at Dishman in Spokane and Dave Smith... .

Both offer me 1000 back of invoice, less rebates, and the 500 WA farm bureau discount... O1 3500 Dually Quad Cab 4x4, O4 3500 Dually Quad Cab 4x4, O4. 5 3500 Dually Quad Cab 4x4, O5 3500 Dually Quad Cab 4x4, and I'll order another truck in about 5 or 6 months... . I usually order what I want... ...

I've found most of Dishmans vendors here and have the box sprayed with a bed liner for 250, and have a line on the goose neck hitches... etc...

Melloy Dodge in Albuquerque offered the best deal in New Mexico and all surrounding states. The salesman is Sam Argo, he will not BS you. I special ordered my 05 and they had it here in 4 1/2 weeks. :)

Bought mine at Dave Smith Motors. Saved me $8-$10K over local price. I figured it was worth the trip to get the savings. It's been a great truck so far and a mostly no hassle deal. I will do business with them again in the future when the time comes.

In the New England area Foss Motors on in Exeter N. H. This is the 2nd truck I've purchased from them. They went $800 under invoice on a special order truck (now on dock in N. J. as of 6/16). I can't wait any longer! Oo.

This is a bit off the subject but I know if you want leather Dishman has a shop there that will install a terrific leather interior with real leather back seat and embroidered logos for very reasonable, probably not much more than the actual leather option. I saw one of these trucks and the quality was a step above factory. If I ever do a new truck again that's the route I'd take. . . order the premium seats and get the "Dishman leather" option :)

I got 649. 00 under invoice plus rebates at Dave Smith Motors back in 12/02 on my 3rd Gen but Butch at Dishman in Spokane can get you 1K under plus rebates on an order truck. People are always surprised what I paid for our truck it was 31,061 with tax and license out the door they all say "I thought it was a 50K truck"

I have bought 4 rams and 2 other rigs from Dave Smith Motors. Accesories and service great. Ask for Johnny B and tell him Dave Beardslee sent ya.

Carson Dodge was the place for me! It wasn't the greatest deal, but not the worst by far.

I paid $400 under invoice and a total of $3000 in rebates = $3400 under invoice. Charlie Gillies was my salesman and is very honest and a straight shooter. Oo.

Dave Smith motors less than a week ago. 34500, 12000 less than dealers in Las Vegas. 3500 slt 4x6 auto big horn edition,6playercd. A co worker of my wife bought a 2500 for 33000 here in Las Vegas ,took him 7 hours at the dealership to get that deal. I thought that was a good deal until my wife asked me what a Hemi was. He paid 33000 for a Hemi :--)

I got an Intrepid for my wife from Dishman... . the only thing she wanted was leather that the car didn't have... . Rob called the guy your talking about and sent me over..... Very nice to deal with, he had to order the leather in the colors my wife wanted... . she's very pleased..... and much less than another car with features she really didn't care for.....

Gary @ ALbany (MN) Chrysler.

They were the 5th or 6th dealer I went to and the 1st to take me seriously. I guess a 25 year old kid doesn't get much respect when he walks into a dealer in jeans and a t-shirt and asks about a $40 truck. I called and told Gary what I wanted (dually reg cab 6spd), they didn't have it in stock. He called me back 5 mins later and he had found 4 of them. None of the other dealers could find any, anywhere. Drove up there that afternoon and bought 1 of the 4. Never went anywhere else for the '04. 5. Did test drive a D-max/allison though, but that's for another thread/time

If you are in so cal, you can't go wrong talking to Tedroy Smith over at Moss Bros Dodge in San Bernardino. Got my truck for 1% below invoice minus about 3500 in discounts.

Not really sure how far under invoice I got mine but the out the door price was just under $33k for a fully loaded 04. 5 SLT 4x4 with the D/C 7/100k zero deduct warranty. It also helpped that there is no sales tax here in Oregon and 4 years of license was $50. :D  :D I love the truck. I feel I got as good a deal as I could have at any other dealer and I got it local at Lithia Dodge, Grants Pass Oregon.

This is my 2nd truck from them and they have a great service department. We just bought the wife's new Chrysler Sebring convertible at Lithia. Got a killer deal and top dollar on the trade. I knew when I went in what I would accept to make the deal and I actually got an extra $1500 off the price than I expected. I have worked with the same salesman every time. "Deiter" Good guy! Ill buy the next one from him.

Bought my 98 from Dave Smith but Lithia made me the same deal DS offered and I didnt have 800 miles on the truck before it saw my driveway. Oo. :D

Shoeders Chrysler Center in Rhinelander WI. $11k less than the crooks up here in Alaska. Rod Montezon is the man I dealt with, the great thing about this dealership is Rod didn't have to run back and forth to his sales manager. We spec'd out the truck I wanted to order on paper, he told me what the sticker price would be, and in under 1 minute told me what my price would be. No BS at all.

Steve White Motors in Hichory,N. C. , ask for Jeff Hogan. Paid for one-way flight, picked me up in Charlotte,NC and drove me to Hickory,NC, full tank of fuel, overnight in hotel and several free oil change vouchers. Even called to see that I made it home in one piece. All-in-all the only dealer I will buy from from here on out!!!!!!!!!
