Ive started this posting to try and get more attention. As was mentioned in another posting MM may or may not come again. Due to manufacturers failing their commitments. In other words MONEY!!. For MM to continue it will possibly need more committment from participants. I honestly believe the extra money is worth it. Meeting new friends and increasing knowledge is priceless. The cost this year was $35 for registration. Who would be willing to pay $100?Please post your interest and willingness with a short yes or no. Im going to keep a tally of this posting and will let john know the responses. My tally is yes Id pay more. Lets hear it

Yes I would pay more. I paid $98 for the nationals last August. It might even be better where the mfg. does not have so much influence i. e. putting pressure on John to do it their way. For example, non-EPA certified vendors were sent letters stating they were not welcome at Belen this year. Banks and TST now have gone through CARB testing for their box, but I think the competitors should not be excluded on this sort of basis. Let the TDR members study the features and decide without [censorship].

DC or Cummins could add features and do them their way. That way we might lose a feature (day in the dirt with new products, etc. ) if they back out, but would not lose the entire meet if factory support is withdrawn. I welcome DC and Cummins partipation and I believe they greatly enhance the TDR meets in more ways than just financially. I was disappointed that DC gave John a hard time this year and believe it is in everyone's best interest for the meet to stand on its own.

I would pay more for the event, although it may be awhile before I make that trip again. It is a long ride from Dallas.

I would not mind excluding DC from the event. I enjoyed driving my own truck around in the dirt more so than the new trucks.

The event is about all of us getting together and sharing something we have in common. I go to a cruise night somewhere in Dallas every Saturday night. They always have someone judging the cars and handing out awards. To be included, you have to make a donation to the host club. I put in my money, but I don't register my car. I'm not there for the recognition, I'm there for the enjoyment of sharing my hobby with other people. My point is, this is what May Madness is about. We shouldn't let DC or any other sponsor ruin it for everybody.

$100 is not too bad when you consider the other costs involved. I'm with Jeff about what the event should be about. I missed it this year because I had to work. CURSES!! #ad

If Dodge is not involved nor is Cummins... count me in.

Would I get RAMMED outta here if I suggested a joint venture of RAMS, FORDS and DURAMAX's?
It would be a good true showdown.

I will go to my room if required.

Eh, great idea Scott. Team up the Powderpuffs and the Duramaxipads. They still won't beat the virile Rams. Maybe we'll get some respect when they see the Ram taillights up close and personal, hehe. Most of hm have just been reading about 500+hp Rams and think we are all talk like Mr. Ford.

Something rubbed off on me while down at MM. Since Ive been back Ive talked to my dealer about locating an HO 6spd. Test drove one and Im impressed. They have 2 on the lot but Im needing flame red and SWB.

speaking of powderpuffs... I had one pull up beside me [Banks tag on the fender. HAHAH]
Only when I got into 5th and then 6th did I let him have it... he was about 1 truck length ahead of me when I was in 4th... When I hit 6th I saw the poor 92 mph governed twuk way back. It was not even a competition.
Lets get em all to come to mAY maDnESs neXt YEaR.
eH>?AH

I would be glad to pay more. Not too impressed with Mr. "Chew on this. " from DC, but other than that it is a great event and I hope it will take place again next year.
