Right now a few friends of mine and are planning on leaving the 3rd of June for Muncie... at a reasonable morning hour that way we are down there and comfortable well in time for the Kick-off party on the 4th(sleep in). Anyone Traveling through the cities on the 3rd? Anyone want to hook up with us so we all can convoy together? Nothin better than seein 20 CTD/Dodges cruzin down the HWY! Oo. Madison? Eau Clare?

Men it is too early to get everyone worked up about Muncie it is still 5 frickin months away. I will be going but I am going to try to forget about it till it gets closer so I don't have to endure the the waiting and wondering, plus I still have a lot of work to do on the ride to get it even close to ready for failure in Muncie. . lol

I had one in my truck for TiM '03... but it wouldn't transmit. I would be constantly listening and when the group needed a yes/no response - I would romp on it once for yes... and two times for no. Good old fashioned smoke signals. :-laf



I didn't have a working AM/FM radio either... so I got to listen to the stack, become deaf and try like heck to hear the CB chatter... .

When exactly do you guys plan on leaving? I am pumped up and ready to roll!!! I am thinking about like 3 or 4ish Thursday morning. (in June, not this week)



Thinking about TIM is consuming ALL my free time. I will be totally insane by the time it gets here. You guys will have to haul me down there in a straight jacket.



Just think about it... Thursday night well be in the parking lot making last minute tweaks on the trucks or adding the latest bomb, and drinking beer.

Friday morning, well be fixing the stuff we screwed up the night before. Then, the cruise, the kick off party, going back to the hotel and drinking beer in the parking lot of Lees. Getting up Saturday morning for a FUN FILLED, ACTION PACKED day. Show and shine, chicks, dyno runs, vendors, qualifying pulls for Saturday night. Then comes the main event... THE BIG SMOKE. Get done pulling, pick up the pieces and head back to the hotel to drink more beer and talk big or lick our wounds (depending how we did). Then Sunday, its over to the track for a little rubber burnin and rain.



Hey Mr. "everybody should have CB's", did you forget to turn yours on when we went to Green Bay that day?



Its gonna be a blast, dont you think Craig??

Big wheels rollin'

Last year, I rolled out of here after work at about midnight and met Craig just north west of Janesville at about 1:30. We put the hammer down (65~70mph) and wheeled into Big Oak at about 8:30 or 9 Friday morning.

I'll be there, but it's too early to know when I'll be leaving. I plan on towing down the mobile love palace and staying at Big Oaks. I'll have to see what the work situation is like when it gets closer.
