Had mine done this morning. I didn't have the surge after cruise or whatever they were calling it, but it seems like it might be a little different when I shift. It used to hang or even rev a bit between 2nd and 3rd shift. Idle startup seems a bit better maybe too. It feels like an overactive governor sensing a slight load and over compensating.
My driveway is a steep hill, and I always have to stop and wait for the door opener

mad: ) just outside. When I get up close, and push in the clutch, it revs up because of the load it had on it. It's like it's reacting too long or too late, and not getting the feedback to calm itself down so it overshoots.
I wish it were just a spring adjustment that Piers or somebody could help me with. With the 2 trucks in the driveway, I sometimes dream of my (really HO) 12 valve 3rd gen, and a 94 "HO" common rail with a FOR SALE sign on it.
I took my 4 year old son with me. He sat in cars, learned about use of vending machines, enjoyed the entertainment pack the dealer gave him, (coloring book, crayons, puzzle, etc) and played hide and seek with me in the write up area. We even went into the service area and watched the proccess. When the technician was done, (about 2 hours later) he handed me the keys and we drove off. We sat at the airport watching planes take off and land, got something to eat, then drove downtown, found a parking spot, and went shopping.
My cell phone rang, it was the dealership. "Your truck is done"

After a moment of confusion, I said "I know, I've been in it for for an hour or more. Thanks"
