Last I heard Dave's building a new engine for his truck, in part to compete with Mike Laribee in the "grudge match. " But I'm not in the loop so maybe that's come & gone already.

Edit: It *was* set for June 25th, however this is direct from EEP's site.

******Update 6/1/05*****

The Grudge Match has been postponed.

Dave and Mike are still waiting on motor parts and will not be ready to hook. We'll try to work out something later in the year.

Hey if your gonna throw my name up there... ... ya gotta add Justin "Bean Pole" Williams. :-laf

I voted for Mark Harris :) Just because I have never seen his truck pull... I really don't think he has it in him to pull :D

WOW! I have 2 votes! Oo.

I have it in me Gapper, just don't have the $$$.

Actually I am going to pull in September in Cynthiana KY, its about a 3. 5 hr drive from my house..... if you wanna come watch you can ride with us... . or I will have video tape of it pulling.

I'm missing the next two pulls I know of Stanford, KY tomorrow & Terra Haute for reasons I cannot get around. :{

With this new job I will have the truck ready for next year..... by the way haven't seen the White Wonder this year either big guy! :p

Mark,

I can throw in a booster seat so you can see over the dash for your sled pull.

Maybe some blocks for the clutch and gas pedal.

The scene from Indiana Jones come to mind... .

:D

Yeah Dan,

"Old news" is right.

We all know who would win that one and it ain't the truck from OHIO! :-laf

Apples to oranges, the trucks are different breeds.

The sled setup has more to do with who would win where & when than the trucks.

Just MHO...

thanks for mentioning my name on the same page with the rest of those guys. i just want to have fun with my ole single charger truck. nick

Dl5-you must be from Perry Co. , OH. You obviously don't know much about pulling either. This list is missing some names. Is this a poll for the best pulling truck or puller? Money can't buy experience, driving ability, or track sense. It can buy horsepower, though. My top 5 best PULLERS(diesel trucks) would be:

-Van Haisley

-Ed West

-Terry Coppess

-Frank Puskarich

-Wade Wright

-Dave Mitchell

-Scott Amos

OK, there is seven. And in no particular order. Some of you might not agree with me, cause this ain't an internet list..... it's real world.
