hey guys truck is in sig and im trying to decide which twins to go with. i am going to be running a hx35/40 of some kind and a ht3b/26. so my question is whos got the best settup and the best bang for the buck with the goals being 550(+-) and 1000(+-)??? i'd also like to know everyones experiences that have tried the different brands and installed them not just what they heard second hand. . ?? mainly because i will be doing this myself with a buddy. thanks in advance!!

pdr twins are nice, but spendy for what u get, the hx40 spools like a turd with the 16 housing no matter how much box you have, add some 3-flows with the tst twins box, and watch out cause here they come, i would check with industrial injection, they are working on a sps 66, s1 combination that is supposed to be top notch...

That's great that you finally got everything worked out! Next time we have the same days off we should meet up - I wouldn't mind to check out that slightly modded CP3, twins x2, and injector combo of yours! Now, all you need is a new clutch. Have you noticed how many Fast and Furious wannabes there are around town lately?? :-laf

there are a lot of them but none want to race, i think they are tired of their cars smelling like diesel and tire smoke from all of us diesel freaks, i will be off this coming thursday and friday, i have a big snow kit that is supposed to be at my house any day now..... Oo.

cool i will be around :D

so i have been looking at prices on turbos and PDR seems to be one of the cheapest. POOLE wants 4800 for his settup! thats almost 2-350 bucks more. kinda expensive, since piers does the works to his turbos.....

i want to add an external wastegate to my set up, but we will see as i am only running 60 psi and that is with the blow offs all the way down, the pdr twins with some fuel dont have to work very hard at all to make decent boost levels, i dont turn them up because i am scared to blow the head gasket before i am ready to change it... i am running the 40-16 and the ht3b-26 for my set up..... sounds way better than a single charger, sounds like a jet taking off when they start to come alive... Oo.

B1/B2 turbos are more expensive to buy than modified HX40/HT3B's so the price difference is actually marginal. Add to that the Tial external w/g and I would say the Poole twins are priced pretty fairly with Piers. I think all twin turbo kits are over-priced, but just like everything else, if you want something bad enough, you will pay the price :D
