Why are my number of posts declining?

Before I logged off yesterday I had over 730 posts. Then I log on today check a post I've been active in and notice the number is 727,

There was probably a post that you had posted to that was in a forum that posts do count towards your post total that was moved into a forum where they do not. I also upgraded vB to the latest release last night and that may have done a recount of posts which can occasionally change it slightly.

No post count in the "Other" forum.

The other, political, and katrina forums do not count towards your post total. Neither do any posts that we move to the moderators forum (which you don't see).

Don't feel bad, I lost over 1000 posts when a bunch went to the archives and lost their member names. . . and my join date has been incorrect since Oct. 1999

I lost a bunch too. I think I was in the top 5 or 10 a while back.

I always talked too much anyway. :-laf
