Issue #42?

I dunno, they have it set up a bit early. I subscribed in May and started getting "you're going to expire" notices in January. Like I'd ever lapse!

Sort of like making a dental appt. 6 months in advance--duh, no way dude. I call ya when I'm ready.

Renewal Cards

ab7fh, I'm sorry for any confusion. Your member number begins with 40. That tells me that you prepaid for Issues 40, 41, 42 and 43. You should have received Issues 40, 41 and 42 by now. Issue 43 should arrive in February, 2004. You will not need to renew until after that time.

Regarding the scheduling of renewal cards, some folks think they're sent to early. Some think they're sent too late. It depends on when in the quarter you set up your new subscription or renewed (as to whether it feels too early or too late).

Each subscription includes 4 issues of the magazine as well as 12 consecutive months access to the website. As noted above, you're 4th issue of the magazine won't arrive until February, 2004, and you'll stay active on the website well after that date. We allow a minimum of 12 months access, not less.

Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience the timing of the renewal card has caused you.

Thanks, that's what I wanted to hear is that my subscription to this site is for a full 12 months. The card makes it seem like your entire TDR subscription is about to expire not just the magazine.

I'm trying to renew on-line, but when I type in my last name and email address, it tells me I am not in the system.

How do I renew on-line?

I believe that will only work if you've used the online renewal or subscription process before. Just enter your information fresh and the account will be created. That is not tied to the forum software at all.

They will renew your old one. The subscription/renewal process is a manual one and they will look up your account and apply it to that.
