When driving around town, I notice with inreasing frequency, that my vehichle starts rolling in 3rd gear. Bill K. sent me a new
resistor that was installed in the VB wiring
harness, but if anything, it appears to have
worsened things. I understand the shift is not pressure regulated so should have little to do with the fact that I also increased the line pressure to help remedy my TC shudder. My engine and trans are well bombed but the truck is a dog out of the hole when it starts in 3rd. I can manually shift 1-2-D but this is apparently not healthy for the transmission. Any advice?

Gary,
Email me your phone # and i will contact VB tech and have him call you. Since we hadn't heard back from you we assumed all was well with you.

One of the challenges we face when we do not custom install products in our shop is to have them set up exactly the way we wish for best performance.

We still have a few options for to try as the symptoms you are describing is not the way our products should perform.

Should you choose not to persue these options we understand and would be happy to give you a refund.

Eventhough Bill is in Texas,i will inform him of your status.

Please email me your # as i am at home and do not have it with me,so we can get you looked after.

The same thing happened to me , it was a blown 15 amp transmission fuse under the hood.

Wayne, thanks for your input. I checked the power distribution centre and the 10amp trans
fuse looks ok. Maybe I should change it anyway just in case. I believe the problem is electrical since it can be remedied by
turning the engine off, then on again.
