Why does my Sig keep getting chopped?

Why does my sig get chopped after about 3 lines.

there's a limit on the number of characters in your sig. I think it's 300, but don't quote me on that. Tim. .

There is a 300 character limit on your signature. If you click on your user profile you will see that there is a signature field (limited to 300 characters and what will be displayed on the first post you make on a page ina thread), and a truck profile field (which will have your complete signature in it if you had a signature prior to the change and that doesn't have any length limit at all). I had an announcement up for several weeks about this change - you can see the details at https://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=49641 . Initially the limit was set at 200 characters and all signatures were truncated to 200 characters, based on user input we decided to change that to 300 characters but the signatures had already been truncated and many users had already modified their sigs. So if you have changed your signature since the changeover you have an extra 100 characters you could add.
