Why does my truck have ghosts?

In addition to the ECM problems mentioned in my other thread, my truck is exhibiting some strange behaviours.



1. When the truck is off and in reverse gear the backup lights will light up.

2. Once in a while the interior lights will come on by themselves.

3. The AC light will light up even if the truck is off when depressed into the on position.

4. The lights on the rail pressure gauge are always on even though the truck is off, my rail pressure gauge is made by Quadzilla.





There are no codes showing that are associated with the PCM, yet doesn't this sound like PCM related problems?

Who has completed the wiring for the aftermarket products that you have installed?



It has always been a fear of mine that I would mess with something I "shouldn't" and set off a demon of electrical problems!

Pull all 4 batt cables and let it set for an hour or so then clean the terminals before powering it back up.

Its worth a try and dont cost anything.

Has worked wonders for me over the years kinda like rebooting a pc.
