Praying for you, brother. I'm also very proud of my son and daughter who are excellent drivers.
I was on a road trip with my 18 year old daughter this summer, we'd driven to Talladega to buy her an S10. We were on our way back with the S10 on a trailer and approaching a traffic light at a cross roads on a divided highway in Alabama. We had the green light and were driving the speed limit of 65mph. As we approached the intersection, my daughter told me to slow down, there was a U-Haul box truck coming from our right that wasn't slowing down. I came to a stop as the truck blew right through the intersection and t-boned the car passing me on the left. No one was killed but the lady in the car was taken away in an ambulance on a backboard. She couldn't feel or move her legs. I had already seen the truck and started slowing when my daughter alerted me, even threw my arm out trying to wave the car down. I was proud that my daughter was alert and didn't take the green light for granted.
