Greetings-

Here is an interesting one. When I first installed my Edge Comp, my acceleration off the line was very impressive. Now, a week later and after a P0237 I cleared the truck is a dog off the line.

I am having poor performance off the line with or without the Comp activated so I am thinking either map sensor, or LP, or VP44.

So far I have only reset the TPS and the CEL - yesterday I drove over 400 miles and I could tell the Comp was working around 1700 RPM when compared to stock. I did not get any CEL on the trip for my MAP after clearing that the other night.

I have tapped the FP wire and am wondering how big a mistake that was now. Is the LP covered under the 100k warranty? I know - I am my own warranty station. I drive the COMP in #1 setting since my guages have not got here yet from Diesel Manor.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you are on anything less than level 1x5 it will be a dog. I noticed one time that on 1x3 my truck has less umpph than with the comp off. As long as you have fuel pressure, level 3x5 is pretty safe if you're not towing anything and you stay close to any posted speed limits, try it out and see if that helps.
