why is this turning out to be so hard?

i have been trying to find a 98(12v), 2500, qdcb, lwb, 4x4, 5spd, w/ under 100k, close enough to get to, and i can't go much over 17k. i am out of brookings oregon, but in iceland for the time for the navy. my dad has p. o. a. if/when i find a truck. these things are hard to find and i know someone has one and wants a new truck



anyways i hope i can put this here because i know one of you know where i can get my hands on one. thanks for your time i appreciate it.

You're not kidding about those being rare! I even offered $100 in a thread on the 2nd gen forum to anyone who could find me that exact combination (and I was willing to fly anywhere in the nation from Alaska!). I even sent a couple PMs to people. Never did hear anything from anyone. I was going to up my finder's fee to $250 or even $500, but just settled on a nice 2000 24 valve that I found locally.

For someone looking I now of a 97 x-cab long box 12 valve auto for 14000.
