Why not spell it "BOM"

Concerning the recent posts on here about whether the government hacks are coming across our website more than a few times because of our use of a certain word to indicate high horsepower modifications to our trucks, why not just spell it "BOM" , like Keenan Wayans did in the movie "The Last Boy Scout"... That part right there was hilarious, anybody remember it?

I would go for it. The "BABY" part always makes me think of Telly Savalas. Never could stand him. We have to realize that people resist changes. JMO

Actually, the change was the other way. When Scott1 first came up with the term it was BOM. He added the final B later, everybody liked it and it spread outside the TDR. If BOMB is not PC then I guess I'm not.

I will NOT change the way I talk (or type in tis case) to be Politically Correct. To me, being PC is not freedom of speech!. I feel PC is just another way of being controlled. Are peoples skin really that thin, that they can't realize BOMB for us is an acronym. Well, then again, maybe added propane could be considered a true BOMB .

Sorry, but the subject of being PC started going up my A$$ sideways the first time I've heard it and I guess it always will.

An FBI "expert" on TV the other day said that words like "bomb" don't attract them. It's words or phrases that are used to beat around the bush, but mean the "key word" is what they look for.



In other words, if you want to plan something bad and talk about it in public without someone catching on, you wouldn't flat out say what you're gonna do. You'd use code words.



OH NO - Maybe BOMB is a code word!

Chill out, guys, I wasn't trying to suggest that anyone be politically correct. I'm certainly not PC, and never will be. I just saw the movie again, and thought that part was hilarious, and it just popped into my head to sit down here and type that, just for laughs. I'm not suggesting we change our ways or words to suit anybody, least of all the clowns that rob my pockets every April 15th. So just keep on having fun... I really do think BOM is a much funnier way to spell or mis-spell it, but I don't care.
