especially in the spring. Saw this on my way back from Billings on I-90 the other day. I'm guessing that was the reason....

Cant see the crime seen tape & what it says. Also looks like the windshield is broken.

COULD IT BE THAT ITS A CRIME SEEN???

State troopers don't often leave stuck or broken down autos along side the road for very long. ;)

I used to drive a tractor trailer and would often run I-16 to the port in Savannah, GA. In some sections, the medians have drain culverts. One night ther were three of us headed to Savannah at a rather high rate of fuel consumption. I was in the rear of the mini-convoy when I saw the blue lights come on on a west bound car. It was a Georgia State Patrol. He veered into the median and then attempted to make his U turn. By that time I was almost to him when his front end jumped up in the air and parts started coming off the car, including the front suspension. He had hit one of those drain culverts. I down shifted, called the other two that were starting to pull over, and told them he had hit the culvert and that I didn't believe we needed to stop. So we didn't. I agree with not making Uturns in the median. Georgia now has them marked with reflectors but you never know when somebody might just steal one of those things.
