Cant I delete a topic if I started the topic in errror?



I hit the wrong key a posted a topic instead of a reply then I was not authorized to delete my topic?

I know that one person started a controversial thread and after about 14 ngative comments, he deleted it. I thought the delete option was way at the top when you "edit" the first post. If this has changed, who knows!

OK, I just tried it... the delete option is there on top, but it won't let me do it! Sorry, I tried.
