Wide Eyed Ford Dealer

As a Traveling salesman, I sometimes get bored between 11:30AM-1:30PM (When Everbody goes to lunch) So to kill some time the other day, I stopped by a Ford Dealer to check out a new Powerstoke They were hot to deal & I asked them how much for my Dodge as a Trade . They said they would have to drive it first. No problem I said. After watching 3 different guys take it for a test drive, they brought it back. First question was Why do you want to trade it?? It's so *!#% fast Really I said, you mean your new Ford doesn't have that much power?? No they said, not even close. Guess I'll have to reconsider trading, then Made my day knowing my $$ have not been spent in vain & I have much more room (upward) for power.

ROFLMAO Shame on you, cully, doing that to those poor misguided Ford pushers... . Did they leave a dust cloud hanging over their trail in their attempt to get over to the Dodge dealer and put in an application?

Next time you've got time to kill, why not make a stop at the local Chevy or GMC dealership? LOL

Salesmen are so much fun sometimes! Mostly full of it though.

I took my Ram into the local Sears auto center to have my valve stem replaced, and the shop manager drove the truck around the building to get into the repair bay. When he came back, he was like, "Holy crap man, what did you do to your truck? I hit 25 PSI of boost coming around the building and I nearly lost traction!"



Then he proceeds to tell me that he has a Powerstroke SRW 3500 with some minor upgrades, and that my truck had -way- more kick and considerably less turbo lag than his.



Kinda made me smile when I told him that all I had was a boost module and a set of injectors.
