What is the width of the 2001 4x4 with stock tires?

Measured where? The tires are inside the wheel wells (I think). I have the '01 Dodge Ram boochure at home. I can get the specs from it when I get home tonight.

Width to the outside of the tires

I need the width to the outside of the tires. I have an 01 that is sick and needs a lift home.

Well mine is 79-80" wide at the outside of the tires. my trailer is 78"

. i need to put thin spares on to get it on my trailer. John

Since I went to the trouble to scan it, here are the dimensions from the 2001 Brochure. It only shows the outside dimensions, not tire to tire.

Almost all full size pickups are 79 inches plus a fraction for non-dual drive. If they are 80 inches or wider they have to have clearance lights like the dual drive pickup trucks have.
